GSDBA 2009 Business Resource Directory - (Page EE) ee Dear Friends: It is my pleasure to congratulate the Greater San Diego Business Association for its thirtieth year supporting gay and lesbian business owners and for the publication of its 2009 Directory supporting those businesses. Since GSDBA’s inception in 1979, you have been an integral part of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in San Diego. From business education forums to networking and social events, the GSDBA has enhanced the quality of commerce in San Diego and simultaneously demonstrated the importance of LGBT business in our region.Your association provides important ways for people and businesses in the LGBT community to support one another both economically and socially. Your commitment to enhancing the diversity of San Diego businesses and advocating for equality is to be commended. As the second-largest LGBT chamber of commerce in the United States, GSDBA serves as a model for similar groups throughout the country. As the representative for San Diego, I know how important GSDBA’s efforts have been in fighting for equality in our businesses, our community, and everywhere. I applaud your hard work and the publication of the 2009 GSDBA Directory, and I encourage your continued service to the San Diego community.
