Placement Use the Diagnosis and Placement Inventory (DPI) to accurately place students into one of the four overlapping levels of High Point. As You Teach Each Unit Use High Point to teach critical areas of Vocabulary, Reading and Literary Analysis, Language, and Writing. At the End of Each Unit Administer the Unit Test for the unit just completed to assess mastery of skills and determine needs for remediation and intervention. At the End of the Year Administer the appropriate End-ofLevel Test to provide a summative measure of student achievement. Student Book Unit Tests provide an accurate picture of student skill development in reading, language, and writing.
