How would you describe your business in
one sentence?
Since the company began in the early 1950's as
CH Brumlow producing chenille bedspreads
on Peacock Alley, one thing remains- Brumlow
Carpet is easy to do business with and we are
eager to serve your needs.

How different does your company look
today from ﬁve years ago?

Five years ago we were exclusively an area
rug producer. Over the last five years, we
have undergone a makeover like no other.
Just imagine if you were to switch your entire
business model. There have been quite a few
challenges to say the least. It has been an
experience and it has worked out well for us. We
believe in our dedicated associates and customers
who, in turn, have believed in us.

What differentiates your company from
it's competitors in the marketplace?

colors than our competition so why not use the
equipment to drive custom business? That is what
it is made to do, right? We do just that by offering
the lowest minimums for custom colors. Now the
designer does not have to operate from a pre set
bank of colors. For as little as 150 feet, you can
create the colors and image you wish to portray.
Brumlow believes in and pushes customization -
always. We have created several custom rugs and
carpets for customers around the world. Sizes
range from a 12x35 foot pattern repeat for a casino
to a 45 foot long custom rug
for a resort, to a 36 foot diameter rug for a
historical site.

One of the advantages of being a smaller
company is the ability to be flexible. Approval
for a project is rarely more than one phone call
away. We just have to ask one question; "Can
we do this for the customer?". One thing that we
have taken from our rug experience with major
big box retailers is we take the word 'No' out of
the equation.

What else should we know about your
company?

What does partnership mean to your
company today?

What predictions do you have for 2014?

We define partnership as " one allied with
another". To us, that means, as we move forward
with business relationships, every customer
is an ally. Every project begins with the end
result in mind and everyone plays a key part. By
building strong partnerships, we create satisfied
customers. Partnership means everything
because without it, how can you survive?

What is your company's philosophy
toward customization?

Brumlow invested in a state-of-the-art high
definition injection printer for carpet and rugsas a matter of fact, the Brumlow DigiChrome
equipment was the first of this type in operation
in the USA. The designs are created at a 645dpi
resolution and we can load 16 pure colors on our
machine. The DigiChrome gives you flexibility
to create custom designs and use more pure

Aside from printed carpet, we also have a
ColorTec machine to create 15 foot wide carpets
and rugs as well. Also, our capabilities allow us to
produce area rugs, bath rugs, or accent rugs based
on your particular need. Sizes start as small as
18" x 30".

My prediction is just like anybody else's....a guess.
It will be a lot more accurate if I am allowed to
give it to you on December 1, 2014. My thoughts
are that the business will continue to grow at a
slightly faster rate for the last two quarters of the
year and we will end up with a modest increase
over 2013.

Brieﬂy describe a product/innovation
you have introduced recently.

We just introduced a new Program and sizeable
catalog that has approximately 250 designs and
550 sku's in it. This program was a product of
about two years work with various designers, and
includes an excellent collection of design styles.
The program consists of 5 different weights and a
quick ship feature that has been well received by
our customers. The quick ship feature includes
any design, any one of five different color families,
up to 350 feet, shipped in 7 working days.
