projects st. cecilia "It's a really interesting space," says Will Meyer of New York- based Meyer Davis Studio, who, along with partner Gray Davis, was tapped to create chef Ford Fry's St. Cecilia in Atlanta. The restaurant, housed in a three-story space in an office building across from shopping center Phipps Plaza, is on a prominent corner that posed more than a few obstacles for the designers. "There is not a straight wall in the place," explains Davis. "We're not really known for designing a whole lot of curves into our projects, but we had to work with it." The interesting architecture lended itself to the restaurant's design inspiration: a traveler's journey up the coast of Italy. "What drove this project was the idea of collage and more is more is more," says Meyer.
