The cavernous, thin space took self-referential inspiration from the beauty of Casa Dragones' packaging and bottle, creating a sense of infinity when one enters the room. This effect combined with 4,000 "black obsidian tiles that cover the walls and ceiling evokes ancient and mystical elements that transport you on a journey of craftsmanship that travels deep into the heart of tequila," says Will Meyer, cofounder of the firm. Simple globe-shaped pendants and wooden barstools paired with black and white striped tile flooring accentuate the standout glass tiles crafted by Mexican artist Gloria Cortina, which leave you with "several clues about what makes this particular brand of tequila tick," he continues. 046 June 2017 hospitalitydesign.comhttp://www.hospitalitydesign.com
