student project winner Arrowhead Resort Jackson Hole, Wyoming For their project, Iowa State University students Holland Shodeen and Taylor Bryan used a soft, natural palette and rich finishes to define the Arrowhead Resort fictitiously set at the base of the Grand Teton Mountain range in Jackson Hole. Intimate touches continue throughout the voluminous lobby, casual and formal restaurants, and the spa, which frame exquisite views. The 55 guestrooms and suites strengthen the connection to nature with a foyer functioning as a transition space from relaxation to action, as do five private cabins. A compelling addition is an outdoor pool that directly opens up to the mountains.
