The 2016 Healthcare Design Expo & Conference is six months away, and
our new website is ready to roll By Kevin Gaffney
At the 2015 Healthcare Design Expo & Conference,
thousands of you met in Washington, D.C., to
"Discover What's Next" in the world of healthcare
design. Hopefully, you discovered new ideas in
the many educational opportunities. Perhaps the
discovery came in the form of new products or
services to enhance your work or improve the care
that patients ultimately receive. Maybe you realized
just how much new colleagues and friends really
understand your challenges and successes, as
only someone in healthcare design can. Whatever
your discovery, I hope that it's made the six months
since the show great for you both personally and
professionally. I also hope that it has you even
more excited to join us again in six months when
we convene for the 2016 Healthcare Design Expo
& Conference Nov. 12-15 in Houston.
Devoted to how the design of responsibly
built environments directly impacts the safety,
operation, clinical outcomes, and financial success
of healthcare facilities, both now and into the
future, the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference
highlights best practices and top healthcare
design products. Our theme this year, "Innovative
Design - Healing Environments," stresses a deeper
look at how your thoughtful and strategic design
work is critically important to creating a healing
environment for patients and caregivers.

With more than 150 educational opportunities, thousands of products and services
to explore on the expo floor, and dozens of
opportunities to network with your peers,
HCD Expo 2016 is not something you'll want to
miss. Our educational team has been hard at
work putting the finishing touches on a stellar
conference lineup, and you can learn more

Registration opens at the end of June,
and I encourage you to sign up soon to take
advantage of the special early rates as well as
to lock in the key sessions and tours you wish
to attend. You'll find more registration details
