The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer
Care-The Neely House, Boston

In this renovated medical suite, the reception area emerged with a
hospitality-influenced aesthetic, created by breaking away from the
traditionally furnished waiting room to an open, inviting space with
built-in seating. Ceiling lights sprinkled throughout reflect in the
polished oversized floor tile. The white interior is contrasted with
rich wood and luxurious materials including a back-lit onyx column.

Blending hospitality with healthcare, the newly renovated Neely
House provides cancer patients and their families a homelike environment within the hospital while undergoing cancer
treatment. Located at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, it is a
quiet, restful sanctuary only an elevator stop from medical care
at the hospital.

In August 2016, Centegra Health System welcomed the community and region with a new
360,000-square-foot hospital with 128 beds. Their
mission was to create a very special place for wellness and healing.
"We appreciate our partners at Spellman Brady
& Company, who helped us bring our vision to life
at Centegra Hospital-Huntley. From the day we
opened, we've been proud to welcome patients and
guests to this beautiful hospital," stated Hadley
Streng, senior vice president of strategy and development.

The hospital campus is surrounded by nature
preserves and water sources, so the designers at
Spellman Brady & Company utilized Furnishings
and Artwork as interior sculpture that reflects the
area's nature.
Entering the building a copper and wood mobile,
commissioned for the space, adds texture while
expressing the sense of floating leaves.
Each elevator lobby has accents of painted metal
artwork assisting in wayfinding and gives the abstract impression of earth, water and sky.
