World Ark Magazine - January/February 2008 - (Page 45) Heifer Theatre Project Have you ever had the pleasure of teaching a bright, artistically talented young person and wanted to help them develop their skills and deepen their passion for the arts? Heifer International has an opportunity for high school students to exercise their talents while learning more about how to change the world. For two weeks each year, high school students from across the U.S. and around the world gather at Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, to live the lessons of world hunger and poverty, community interaction and growth in the Heifer Global Village. They use their knowledge and experience from the Global Village in workshops in writing, dance, music and drama to translate their experiences into an original theatrical production. Encourage a promising young performer you know to grow as an artist while making a difference this summer!
