A flat, 3-mile round-trip hike with maples, redwoods, an elk meadow and cascading creek. A longer option to Tall Trees Grove is possible in summer. Come in today and visit beautiful Patrick’s Point State Park Hwy 101 to Patrick’s Point exit, six miles north of Trinidad, enter Park and access trail from Agate Beach Campground, Wedding Rock or Palmer’s Point picnic area. Day-use fee. 3-1/8 miles. Hugging the clifftops, occasionally sending off spur trails to dramatic rocky points, this trail delivers up breathtaking views framed by coastal forest. Shore access at Mussel Rock. Bull Creek Flats Humboldt Redwoods State Park Hwy 101 to Honeydew exit/ Mattole Road, two miles north of Weott, follow to trail 1/4 miles west of Albee Creek Campground. No fee. Mostly level hike of up to 8 miles round-trip through the huge redwoods of Bull Creek Basin.
