CATALINA ISLAND At Southern California’s favorite offshore destination you will find both barren and undeveloped nature and the little resort town of Avalon, including a mini version of Monte Carlo with a casino that offers dancing, but no gambling. Sport fishing is an Island legacy, as is sailing, sunning and scuba diving.
