Its sandy bottom and ¯ gentle wave action make Kalapakı one ¯ of the better swimming beaches on this part of the island. A resort stretches out behind the beach in a rolling plain of waterways, condominiums, two 18-hole golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and a spectacular hotel with one of the largest swimming pools in the state.
