People in the News Landstar System Inc. has elevated Diana M. Murphy to nonexecutive chairman of the board from independent lead director of the board. At Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., Greg C. Gantt has been promoted to president and chief operating officer from executive vice Gantt president and chief operating officer; he succeeds as president David S. Congdon, who remains chief executive officer and assumes new responsibilities as vice chairman of the board. Also, Adam N. Satterfield, currently Old Dominion's vice president and treasurer, has been chosen to become chief financial officer following the planned year-end retirement of Wes Frye from his roles as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer. At Con-way Inc., Joseph M. Dagnese, formerly president of Con-way Truckload, has been named president of Con-way Freight. Dagnese C.H. Robinson has promoted Mike Short to president of its global forwarding division from vice president of global forwarding for North America; has named Andrew Clarke, most recently a director of Blount International Inc., as chief financial officer; and is transitioning Chad Lindbloom, the company's longtime chief financial officer, to the position of chief information officer. Jeff Sass, most recently national sales manager for Paccar Parts, has joined Navistar International as senior vice president for North America truck sales and marketing. Mike Kamsickas, formerly executive vice president and global operations group president at Dayco Power Transmission, has been named president of the powered vehicle Kamsickas systems business unit at SAF-Holland, succeeding the retiring Jack Gisinger, who is to remain president of the American subsidiary of SAF-Holland through year-end.
