The Insurance Brokers Association of Hamilton adopted a room to help provide a "Home Away From Home" for seriously ill children and their families. Over the last five years they have donated $25,000 to the Ronald McDonald House. BMT Insurance Brokers ended 2017 donating BIP Blankets to multiple charities in their community including group homes, women's shelters and the local hospital's Mental Health & Long-Term Care Unit. The Chatham-Kent Insurance Brokers Association donated fifty blankets and $500 to local non-profits World of Life Church, Tilbury Help Centre, St Anges Soup Kitchen and the Salvation Army.
