Roll up your sleeves and learn from the driving force behind Kingsley's
innovative seasonal bar program as you get hands-on to make four of her
summer signature cocktails. Helck will discuss her approach to developing four all-new
seasonal bar menus every year, and introduce you to her favorite summer-friendly liquors,
ingredients, and techniques. You'll make cocktails with a focus on seasonal and sustainable
local goods, including green strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and berries, as well as
liquors perfect for warmer weather.

Join Sother Teague, beverage director at Amor y Amargo (and president of the U.S. Bartenders
Guild's NYC chapter) for an immersion into cocktails made with amari (herb-based tinctures,
bitters, and liquors). After an introduction to the diverse world of amari, including a tasting of
a variety of bitter ingredients, you'll do some hands-on mixing, learning to make two signature
cocktails from the current menu. You'll also learn the tricks to making a classic cocktail of your
invention, and create your own Dealer's Choice Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

cool cocktails. In this short and refreshing
course, you will learn how to shake, stir, and
mix up an array of summery beachside
beverages, including: Basil Gimlet; John Daly
(the alcoholic Arnold Palmer); and Strawberry
Mojito.

Cocktail craftsman Michael Cecconi works
with a DIY mentality, coupled with a love of
great-tasting cocktails, to teach you new ways
to spice up the classics and construct your own
unique concoctions. In this class, you will make
homemade tonic, various reductions, flavored
ices, pumpkin liqueur, and more, then learn to

overview as well as mixing techniques and

Session 1: Introduction to Professional

Learn the history, traditions, and production
methods behind each major category of
alcoholic beverage (vodka, gin, rum, tequila,
whiskey,bourbon, and Scotch), and discuss
their flavor profiles, taste popular brands, and
learn the most common uses for each liquor.

Session 4: Culinary Mixology

Take your cocktails to the next level and start
mixing like a chef. Anthony will show you how
to make incredible drinks using herbs, spices,
vegetables, and other ingredients more
commonly found in the kitchen than behind
the bar.

This very hands-on session will cover recipes
and mixing techniques for both classic and
modern cocktails. You'll learn all about bar
setup, glassware, pouring, mixing techniques
for each type of drink, best practices, service
speed and working clean, recipes, and popular
cocktails You'll then have the opportunity to
make each drink under Anthony Caporale's
guidance.

You'll be introduced to the basics of running a
successful bar program, including how to
create a profitable drink menu, developing
signature recipes, inventory management,
product ordering, and theft prevention. The
second half will explore the latest trends in
wine and beer cocktails, and how to
incorporate these drinks into your beverage
offerings.

With the thousands of different recipes listed
in bartending books, it's nearly impossible to
learn them all. There are several dozen drinks
that every good bartender (professional or
recreational) should commit to memory.

couples to enjoy drinks together. Each His-nHers pairing consists of two cocktails with
complementary flavor profiles-one geared
toward a more masculine palette and
presentation and the other toward more
feminine tastes. The flavors are designed to be
mixed, preferably through an after-sip kiss.
The ingredients, while of high quality, are commonly available, making everything accessible

Zombies, then work your way to more eclectic
