Over the past six years, the Chinese beer brand that is partly owned by SABMiller has demonstrated outstanding growth and found a spot at No. 4 on the Top 10 Global Beer Brands list, according to Canadean, and is set to move into the No. 2 spot. Within the first six months of last year, Snow, a product of China Resources Snow Breweries, already demonstrated growth of 77 percent selling 2.3 billion liters. The No. 1 brand in China in 2007 in terms of sales volume, Snow’s brand construction is what has led to its phenomenal ride, the company reports. New brand positioning, a corporate name change and an updated label and packaging are all listed as efforts that have added to Snow’s success.
