Inland Empire Golfer - March 2008 - (Page 6) Editor’s Note We’re over the hump! Inland Empire Golfer magazine reached a major milestone, successfully completing its first year with continuous growth and expanded visibility throughout the Inland region. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to introduce and promote rising young stars such as Jane Park and Rickie Fowler, and we interviewed and featured Mike Moulton, Gary McCord and George Lopez, celebrities that in their own right have had an affect on the game. We also gave our readers insight to the year’s exciting evolutionary change in golf technology with “The Square Head Drivers,” and we helped our readers understand the meaning of the buzz phrase, “High Moment of Inertia (MOI).” Those were all powerful editorials that fueled our path to a successful publishing year. Now we look ahead to 2008 with dramatic content that will keep our readers informed and entertained about golf’s many aspects and issues including events that affect the IE golf community. And we’ve expanded our distribution channels. IEG is available through direct mail to upscale golf course communities, by distribution of bulk copies to constituent golf courses for customer rack pickup, and via Virtual Digital Media, targeting more than 500,000 golfers in the Inland region. Please visit www.inlandempiregolfer.com to thumb through issues in ‘flipthe-pages’ virtual views. In addition, IEG is available now through Subscriptions Online (NEW). Our goal is to make Inland Empire Golfer magazine available to every golfer in the Inland region. To that end, you can now subscribe to IEG online at www.inlandempiregolfer.com. Subscription members receive: a copy of IEG mailed directly to their home, access to IEG’s informative Web site content, and an automatic subscription to Golfsocal.com, the Southland’s most visited golf course directory site. Of course, you can always drop by one of the many great golf courses in the IE to pick up a copy. As you can see, we are taking huge strides to become the premier golf magazine in the Inland Empire for YOU.
