Wednesday Be sure to get up bright and early on Wednesday morning and put on your I.E.H.A. polo shirt with black slacks or skirt because you won’t want to miss the Opening Ceremony/Keynote address in the Barron Room at the Las Vegas Hilton from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. It will be a “wow” because Bill Cosby is the featured speaker! I.E.H.A. members will make a statement on this day by wearing their beautiful monogrammed shirts—our sincere thanks to Kaivac for sponsoring them! Busses will be available at the Riviera to get you to the Hilton by 8 a.m. After the Keynote, the exhibit hall will open at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration will be open in the Central Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The I.E.H.A. Housekeeping Olympics, presented by the Las Vegas Chapter, will occur from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the trade show floor and across from the I.E.H.A. booth, #12. Be there to “cheer on” the 20plus hotels that are in the competition! If you are registered to take the REH/CEH Review Session and Test, it will occur at the Las Vegas Convention Center in room N232 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. At 4 p.m. be sure to stop by Kaivac’s booth, #2591, for the chance to win a really special prize! Then, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Happy Hour will begin on the trade show floor—some really unique entertainment will be presented during this event! Wednesday evening will be the “créme de la créme” of events— I.E.H.A.’s fabulous Evening of Elegance that will occur from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Riviera Hotel’s exquisite “Top of the Riv” (Penthouse level of the Monaco Tower) overlooking Las Vegas. Remember to wear your black wristband! The entertainment by Michael Sutherland, a Frank Sinatra impersonator, will knock your socks off—as will the indulgent, decadent coffees, chocolates, and desserts! This is an event where we can dress up and enjoy the special I.E.H.A. major award presentations, as well as share some fun with all of the I.E.H.A. membership.
