Chapters that promote Registered status within their membership. The award is presented every two years at the Association Convention to the Chapter with the largest percentage increase (meeting a minimum requirement of a 2% increase) in Registered members during the preceding two-year period. The award criteria is: a person who has made outstanding contributions continually over an extended period of time regarding housekeeping, the Association, and its advancement; and has rendered meritorious service to all areas of I.E.H.A.; and has written articles showing unusual insight and importance to the housekeeping industry. Langdon worked with educators to develop the 160-hour program and the four-year college degree program. The award has been presented every two years at the Association Convention to the Chapter with the largest percentage increase (meeting a minimum requirement of a 5% increase) of Certified members during the preceding two-year period.
