In addition, John Kohll of the Minnesota Chemical Company hosted the Vendor’s Corner and talked about different carts that are manufactured by Royal Company. I.E.H.A. Congratulations to I.E.H.A. international member Amos Leung, R.E.H., Chief Instructor of Housekeeping, Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre in Hong Kong for recently earning his certification! On June 14, 2008, ten members of the Hawaii Chapter gathered at the 100th Infantry Battalion Memorial Building to offer volunteer cleanup services. This is a community project the Chapter does two to three times a year to honor the veterans and support the maintenance of the building. The members cleaned the main hall, lounge, and bathrooms. In addition, on June “Team Cleam” I.E.H.A. mem20, the Chapter held its biannual bers stand with two veterans linen drive. On February 21, 2008, the North Louisiana Chapter met at the Shreveport Parks and Recreation, Maintenance Operation Building in Shreveport, LA, and had over 25 members in attendance. President Don Baker presented a check for $234 to Amie Caskey Roberts, Development Director, Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana; and Vice President Reggie Hodge and Treasurer Lora Peyton presented at gift card for $25 that was donated by Super 1 Grocery Store of Bossier City (pictured above.)
