As one of the most comprehensive housekeeping journals in the world, EHT strives to provide you with the latest information regarding new products and services in order to make your jobs easier. Therefore, in order to better serve you, EHT will be providing a new service beginning January 1, 2009. In lieu of the reader service cards that are available for you to utilize within our print edition, we will now be providing companies with your e-mail address when you show interest in their products in our virtual edition. Therefore, when you click on an advertiser’s hyperlink within our virtual edition, your e-mail address will automatically be sent to the company in order for you to receive additional information about their particular product or service. We are certain that this new service will benefit the readers of EHT and the members of IEHA in two ways: 1. You will be able to receive additional information about products and services that interest you and will make your jobs easier; and 2. We feel that this service will generate additional revenue from advertisers so that we can put that money back into your Association and will be able to provide more benefits to you. Thank you, The IEHA Staff On October 3, 2008, the Cornhusker Chapter held a meeting at Peru State College in Peru Nebraska, with about 18 members in attendance. Chapter President Debra Breazile led off an informal farewell to Ken Walvoord, and the members celebrated Walvoord’s contributions that spanned a 39year period by presenting him with a rubber chicken and a humorous tale of the Las Vegas Convention. Many other members shared their personal stories about Walvoord’s contributions to the Chapter and the effect he has had on their personal and professional lives. The Cornhusker Chapter recognizes and is grateful for the many contributions Ken has made to the Chapter and IEHA. We wish Ken a happy and fulfilling retirement. We realize that money is tight right now, therefore we would like to thank each of you for renewing your membership and seeing the value in the IEHA family.
