If you are looking for the ultimate kid-friendly playground with easy access from I-70 or I-15, then Sevier County should definitely be on your travel itinerary. Located in the heart of Central Utah, Sevier County may very well be Utah’s “best kept recreational secret”. With over 1,000 miles of trails through nearly a million acres of public land, the Paiute ATV Trail system allows visitors to get on an ATV or mountain bike and ride through beautiful red rock canyons or aspen forests for as far as the eye can see. The Paiute Trail traverses three different mountain ranges, climbing to points over 11,000 feet in elevation. Plan to attand the annual Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree held each September in Richfield, Utah! How about wetting a hook? Whether you are trolling for big mackinaws in Fishlake or fly fishing for brown trout in Clear Creek, the action is enjoyable and relaxing. How about a journey down the Sevier River in a raft, canoe, or ride along its banks on the Candy Mountain Express bike trail? The Fremont Indian State Park is sure to pique your interest with Native American history, artifacts, petroglyphs, and pictographs that date back hundreds, and sometimes thousands of years. Be sure to keep an eye open for the many species of wildlife that are prevalent in the area. From the trophy elk herds that roam through the Fishlake National Forest to the ever increasing population of Bald Eagles that dot the sky, Sevier County is a wildlife wonderland. Whatever brings you to Sevier County, its breathtaking beauty and recreational opportunities are sure to make it an experience that you and your family and friends can enjoy. “What Happens in Sevier County, You Can Share with Your Friends.” For more information, please call 1-877-47-EVENT or visit www.centralutah.com Sevier County Info (435) 893-0457 www.central-utah.com The Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree is held annually during mid-September.
