Lehman Caves is a beautiful marble cave ornately decorated with stalactites, stalagmites, helectites, flowstone, popcorn, and over 300 rare shield formations. Ranger hosted cave tours are offered daily. Bristlecone pine trees are believed to be over 1,000 years old and still grow in the shadow of 13,063-foot Wheeler Peak. There are also 11 species of conifer trees, 71 species of mammals, 18 species of reptiles, and 241 species of birds, Delta Utah serves as the town with lodging and dining options that are closest to Great Basin and Lehman Caves, which is located just over the border in Nevada. Check out the night sky far from the light pollution of most cities. This is one of the few places you can see the Milky Way and other stars and planets.
