Lehman Caves is a beautiful marble cave ornately decorated with stalactites, stalagmites, helectites, ﬂowstone, popcorn, and over 300 rare shield formations. Ranger hosted cave tours are offered daily. Bristlecone pine trees are believed to be over 1,000 years old and still grow in the shadow of 13,063-foot Wheeler Peak. There are also 11 species of conifer trees, 71 species of mammals, 18 species of reptiles, and 241 species of birds, Delta Utah serves as the town with lodging and dining options that are closest to Great Basin and Lehman Caves, which is located just over the border in Nevada.
