M

y generation gets a bad rap. A simple web search results in a
bevy of unfl attering traits and habits attributed to the average
Millennial: We've over stayed our welcome in our parents' basements, we're obsessed with our smartphones, and ourselves, etc.
(For the record, we're also the most racially and ethnically diverse generation
ever, we're tech-savvy and innovative, and dedicated to wellness and health,
among other positive hallmarks. But I digress.)
As one of the largest generations in history, we're heading toward our prime
spending years (read: our influence is unavoidable). In the decorated-apparel
industry, we're also collectively making our mark as one of the athleisure movement's biggest drivers.
I call it a movement because the word "trend" doesn't do it justice. Athleisure's
presence and impact is so substantial that it even inspired the Impressions team
to rename this publication. Active and performance styles now take customers
everywhere - and the pages of our revamped Team & Activewear supplement
are designed to help you navigate this increasingly far-reaching category.
