Day 3: Hluhluwe Reserve
Early-morning game drive
at Hluhluwe Reserve, Africa's
oldest nature reserve. Travel
alongside the St. Lucia Wetland
Park to Durban.
Day 4: Durban
Disembark for a city tour of
Durban with lunch. Travel the
Valley of a Thousand Hills to
Ladysmith.
(Golfer's Option: Morning teeoff at Durban Golf Club/Beechwood/Zimbali. Rejoin train after
lunch.)
Day 5: Ladysmith
Explore Ladysmith: Spionkop
battlefield tour, game drive
and lunch. Travel to Kroonstad
across the Drakensberg Mountains.

Day 6: On board
Full day on board to enjoy the
train's amenities.

Day 7: Addo Elephant Park
This morning we tour Addo
Elephant Park near Port Elizabeth. Addo is home to over 450
elephants, as well as Cape buffalo, black rhino and a variety
of antelope species. Afternoon
departure from Port Elizabeth to
Willowmore.

playing six challenging courses,
including Ernie Els' first signature course in South Africa

Day 8: Oudtshoorn; George
After breakfast we arrive at
Oudtshoorn for an ostrich farm
visit. This afternoon travel to
George. Dinner will be together
at Fancourt Golf Estate.
(Golfers' Option: Transfer to
Fancourt Golf Estate along the
Montagu Pass for tee-off; rejoin
the group for dinner.)
Day 9: Knysna
Morning at leisure in Knysna/
ferry ride to Featherbed. This
afternoon, the train travels the
spectacular Garden Route to
Riversale - sometimes high
above the Indian Ocean, at
other times practically at sea
level.
(Golfers' Option: Tee off at
Oubaai Golf Club - Ernie Els'

Day 10: Arrive Cape Town
Day at leisure traversing the
Cape Fold Mountains. Arrive
Cape Town around 5 p.m.
