Westfield Group is the largest retail property group in the world, undertaking ownership, design, construction, asset management, property management, and leasing globally. Gary has 27 years of construction experience, but had no previous CAD experience before Revit. He has used Navisworks and Revit for two years. His production of 3D construction staging plans has significantly impacted construction planning. Project managers are able to understand staging in days, rather than weeks. Navisworks has provided a direct model review platform for both design and construction teams. Errors and obstacles are identified and rectified during design development. Revit enables Gary to integrate construction phasing, adding cranes, hordings etc, enhancing Naviswork simulations. More recently, the use of 3ds Max facilitates the production of sophisticated animations and construction sequences.
