Save the Date December 18 January 31 UE vs. UNC Men’s Basketball Pre-game Fan Gathering, Chapel Hill, North Carolina New York City Alumni Gathering ALUMNUS PROFILE Len Devaisher ’98 Major at UE: Economics Current Residence: Indianapolis, Indiana Current Occupation: Senior Vice President, Corporate Lending Group Manager, Old National Bank, Indianapolis Career Highlights: Placed at ADP upon graduation with help from UE career services I Recruited to Old National Bank in January 2000 by fellow UE alumnus, George Day ’95 I At ONB, served in business development, commercial lending, and management roles I Part-time pastor in the United Methodist Church since 1995 Family/UE Connections: Father, Ron, served for 40 years (1961-2001) as a mechanical engineering professor I Mother and four older sisters earned degrees at UE I Wife, Laura, worked at UE in academic affairs and the registrar’s office I Laura and Len served as interim co-directors of religious life for the 2003-04 school year while the search for a full-time chaplain was underway I Katheryn (Key) Bigge ’01 and her husband, Adam, announced the birth of their third son, Levi Henry. The family also includes 4-year-old Xavier and 2-year-old Gabriel. The Bigges reside in the St. Philip area near Evansville. Thomas ’01 and Jamie (Schaffer) Harlow ’02 had a son, Jonathan Thomas, on June 12, 2007. Jonathan weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and measured 201⁄2 inches long. Bill Heck ’01 and Nick Mills ’03 wrote a production called Egg Farm which they performed in June 2007. Abby (Seng) Mundy ’01 celebrated the birth of her second child, Lauren, on Dec. 7, 2007. Lauren joins older brother, Logan, who is 31⁄2 years old. Lawrence Dial ’02 celebrated the opening of his new play, Beef, on May 17, 2008, in New York City. Corey ’02 and Amber (Dame) Hart ’02 welcomed home a baby girl. Camryn Christine was born on Apr. 25, 2007. Kristine (Miller) Colvin ’03 was married on July 1, 2006. She is now the proud mother of a son named Lincoln. Chad Gentry ’03 debuted his solo EP to Christian Inspirational Radio in June 2008. Digital tracks are available on iTunes and through ChadGentry.com. Chad will perform at UE on Saturday of homecoming weekend. Alina (Lyashchuk) Lasey ’03 married Gene from Atlanta, Ga., on Oct. 25, 2003. The couple celebrated the birth of their first son, Marcus Gene, on Nov. 20, 2004. Alina is employed by itaas Inc. as a finance manager. Rachelle (Morgan) Norman ’03 married Nicholas on Apr. 19, 2008. They reside in Overland Park, Kans., where Rachelle moved her private practice, Soundscape Music Therapy. Daniel ’04 and Sarah (Vanikiotis) Herndon ’06 were married on May 24, 2008. The couple resides in LaGrange Park, Ill. Daniel works for Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and Sarah is employed with the Publicis Medical Education Group.
