Thousands visit during the holiday season to see this wonderful scene. The mansion is open for holiday candlelight tours to show off its holiday best. They are free and open to the public. No reservations are needed. Old Munichburg Kristkendelfest (573) 635-1041 Join this German community to celebrate the holidays in true German fashion. Enjoy homemade strudel, crafts and much more. Events, including a German worship service, a German lunch, history of Old Munichburg and a photo display, will take place on Ashley Street near the Central United Church of Christ.
