As the organizers of the U.S. International Pavilion, we are especially proud to present the leading edge of American aviation and defense technology to visitors of the 2008 Farnborough International Air Show. Celebrating its 60th year, as well as the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight in the UK, this year’s event promises to be the largest and most exciting to date. Comprised of over 200 companies, and with a record-breaking thirteen states participating, the U.S. International Pavilion is the largest National Pavilion represented at Farnborough 2008. The U.S. firms that have made the commitment to participate are eager and ready to do business in the UK and throughout the world. The U.S. International Pavilion at Farnborough is just one in a series of showcase events for the U.S. aviation and defense industries over the next year, and one of many events in which Kallman Worldwide organizes a U.S. Pavilion. We travel next to Kielce for MSPO, then on to Yokohama (JA2008), Athens (Defendory), and Dubai (MEBA) to round out 2008. Avalon, Australia is our first event for 2009, and then on to Istanbul for IDEF in April and finally, next June we will be back at LeBourget for the 100th anniversary of the Paris Air Show. Once again more than 200 companies will come together under the “U.S. International Pavilion” banner in Paris, and special feature exhibits and presentations are being planned as we highlight the U.S. aviation industry’s efforts to “Go Green” in 2009.
