By Chelsie Butler Couple gets their dream bath and extra closet space 0' by being flexible and listening to their designer Homeowners in Oak Hill, Va., had a builder-grade master bath off of their bedroom with a corner tub, a shower and two vanities. The issues they wanted to address were eliminating the large tub they never used and making up for the lack of closet space in the master bedroom. Designer Jonas Carnemark's goal was to accommodate a nice-sized bathroom and closet space into the available footprint, but he had to convince the homeowners first that his plan would be the most successful and efficient. "The clients were eventually planning more work in their home - namely remodeling the son's bedroom and a second bath on the second floor - but were concerned with the cost of doing it all at once," said Carnemark. "After a number of sketches, we decided to switch the son's bedroom with the previous master bath and provided an addition over the existing breakfast room off of the kitchen."
