The team reported on all that wowed them during the 2017 show. Everything from the Opening
Ceremonies to the exhibitor booths to the latest
trends were noted during their exploration.

"I loved Wilsonart's new Artfully Repurposed
Woods Collection (right). To include sustainable properties combined with stunning colors and textures is very impressive. This
surface seems to check off all the boxes for a product that should be
appealing to many."

"I was already a huge fan of Dekton by Cosentino,
but these exciting new patterns in the spirit of the
original pattern of this type - Trillium (left) - were very
exciting to discover. There are endless ways in the home
to use these new patterns, whether as a small accent or
dramatic focal point. I'm a fan."

"I loved the Opening Ceremonies
with Peyton Manning and his
winning attitude and being the best. It's about every
player on the same page watching out for and protecting each other."
He was also impressed with Elmwood's (now part of
Cabico Group) finishes and cabinetry - especially the
pocket door system on the buffet and the Urban Cultivator feature. "It is built in like a beverage refrigerator
or wine cooler with a light as a water system to grow
plants, herbs or veggies indoors."

Formica booth. The wipeable and
chalkboard surfaces were really useful, and the leather
substrates were terrific. They are made from real leather
scraps from the auto and furniture industry and feel and
smell just like the real thing!"

"I noticed all the fun accessories
in cabinets. From innovations to
wine distribution and storage to vacuum pans in the toekick of the cabinets, technology has really advanced in
cabinetry. There's storage for your pet food and supplies
and plugins for all your devices to store and charge out
of site. The show was exciting and brought out modern
lines with rustic materials and technology that really
make your cabinetry work for you."
