CHANGES IN LATITUDE, CHANGES IN ATTITUDE
ver the last decade, I have had an opportunity to
travel the world, attending some incredible design
events as an ambassador of KBB, KBIS and the
NKBA. As is usually the case, I come back both
inspired and eager to take on everything the future
has in store.
While the new products and trends are a big
reason we attend events, more times than not I
come back with an enhanced perspective and appreciation for the business
of global design. Plus, it's always good to run into some old friends and make
a few new ones along the way.

In this issue of KBB, our team offers an inspiring recap of EuroCucina, which remains an
international destination for the European design market. You will get a glimpse into the latest
trends and technology coming from some of the
top brands throughout Europe and beyond.
We will also preview the 30th edition of ICFF,
which will present - for the first time in North
America - nearly 100 designers and producers of
innovative furniture, lighting and interiors from
the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland, Lithuania
and Romania.The Handmade in Germany World
Tour will showcase approximately 180 German
galleries of fine art and objects, while VIA's "NO
TASTE FOR BAD TASTE"exhibition will profile the best in French design.
In keeping with a global design theme, we are
very excited to welcome Tina Ramchandani of
Tina Ramchandani Creative as our guest editor.
Tina's unique design style, global perspective and
appreciation for beautiful - as well as functional
design - is present throughout the issue.
As we look ahead to next year, our team is hard
at work on the next edition of KBIS and our return to Las Vegas.We have a number of incredible
new features and initiatives in the works we will
be rolling out in the coming weeks and months,
some of which have come as a direct result of
your feedback.
