Cathay Pacific Plans All-Cargo Service Between Hong Kong, Houston Bush Cathay Pacific Airways plans to launch three weekly, all-cargo flights to Hong Kong from Houston in September. The action reportedly will be the first scheduled all-cargo service to Hong Kong from Houston, and will become the fourth scheduled Asian, all-cargo service from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. “This new service will boost our network and provide better access and connectivity for our customers between Asia and North America via our home hub in Hong Kong,” says Ron Mathison, Cathay Pacific director and general manager of cargo operations. ProLogis Says Leasing Very Strong at Distribution Parks in Inland China Leasing activity in the interior of China is moving apace for ProLogis. For instance, at ProLogis Park Jiangning in Nanjing, the capital of China’s Jiangsu Province, ProLogis has leased 100 percent of a 234,000-square-foot distribution center to Anji-TNT Logistics, a provider of logistics services for automotive parts. Anji-TNT will operate the space on behalf of Fiat, the Italian automobile maker, serving customers throughout China. In addition, ProLogis announced that the first phase of construction at ProLogis Park Chongqing is fully leased. The new park is being developed in the city of Chongqing, with a population of 30 million people. Altogether in China, ProLogis has more than 11.3 million square feet (1.05 million square meters) of industrial space in operation and another 11 million square feet under development.
