Evergreen Line, Wan Hai Lines Begin Service Linking Japan, Taiwan, Philippines Evergreen Line and Wan Hai Lines have announced a joint service covering ports in Japan, Taiwan and the Philippine Islands. The weekly service will replace Evergreen Line’s existing NSE route, which covered North and Southeast Asia. The service will use three vessels of 1200 TEUs and will have a 21-day rotation. Wan Hai will contribute two vessels and Evergreen one. Ports of call include Osaka, Kobe, Shimizu, Yokohama, Tokyo, Keelung, Taichung, Hong Kong, Manila, Shekou and Xiamen. Weber Distribution Acquires Sales Lead, CRM Software from Salesforce.com Weber Distribution has purchased Salesforce.com’s on-demand sales lead process and customer relationship management software. On the sales lead side, it is expected that Weber’s management will have complete visibility into the company’s revenue pipeline and the sales team will have the ability to view all customer interactions. On the case management side, cases can be automatically routed to the account owner and there are triggers and workflow processes to alert management to open items. Renault Inks Contract with CEVA Logistics to Handle Engine Parts at Spanish Plant CEVA Logistics has a new contract with Renault, providing reception, inventory, preparation and line feeding of engine parts to the automaker’s plant in Valladolid, Spain. The factory produces 1.2 million petrol and diesel engines yearly, in 15 to 18 shifts per week. The plant also produces engine components for other Renault factories.
