less than a handful of cities for the fastest residential
service in the world."
Internet service providers often place clients on hold
and shuffle them around for hours to different customer service representatives, Demaj says. Rocket Fiber
wanted to change the status quo and provide reliable
and responsible service where a representative finds a
solution for the client. "We provide reliable services that
are next-generation from a technology standpoint and
we are also innovating and making sure the client experience is second to none," he adds.
"The Rocket Fiber team is mission focused on client
experience and that includes install times as well," Guardiola says.
Rocket Fiber's goal is to advance the internet experience for all with dependable, unrestrained connectivity
and helpful, authentic client experiences. "That's the
core of who we are and that's how we are making the industry better," Demaj adds. "We are not just an internet
service provider, but a technology partner."

Detroit is tied with three or four other cities in the
United States for the fastest internet speeds, Demaj says,
which he adds is attracting developers to the area and
retaining businesses. "We don't have a scientific way of
tracking businesses coming in, but companies in their
press conferences say they are staying or moving here because of the new infrastructure in place through Rocket
Fiber," he adds. "They specifically mention us."
"With a portfolio of 100 buildings and growing, that
includes low-, mid- and high-rise office and commercial,
as well as residential, I can and have utilized Rocket
Fiber to provide all of our tenants and residents with a
superior product that fits their needs," Guardiola adds.
"Having Rocket Fiber's technology platform available in
the Bedrock buildings keeps Bedrock on the leading-edge
of technology and access to one of the faster networks
in the world. This furthers Bedrock's vision of attracting
technology and growth companies to Detroit and allows
potential clients access to one of the fastest networks in
the world, advancing their business as well."
Rocket Fiber says its internet service is an attractive feature not only for businesses looking at the area, but also for
residents who choose where they live based on the service
they have now versus what they can get access to. "People
love having Rocket Fiber," Demaj says. "People are consistently reaching out to get us into their areas and in their
buildings and neighborhoods. We've brought competition
to the market and that is benefiting the end-user."
About 40 percent of Detroit residents do not have
broadband access and Rocket Fiber is looking to bridge
that digital divide by expanding throughout the area.
"We are focused on continuing to build and expand,"
Demaj says. "We are playing with new technologies that
may allow us to expand a lot faster. We are also adding
new products and constantly working on 'the next big
thing' to further our clients' experience."
Demaj says the company culture is as much a priority
as its technology. "We essentially do everything around the
human element in terms of the way we build our team
and treat our clients," he adds.
Rocket Fiber has about 60 employees who want to
have an impact in other people's lives. "We want people
working for Rocket Fiber who want to have an impact
in whatever city they work in. Detroit is where we are
concentrated right now, so passion for the city is what
we are looking for," he adds. "We love people who are
passionate and mission-driven."
