charge for any revisions to standard floor plans. "[Esposito] identifies what's important to a client and makes it happen for them, and
takes the time to personalize everything."
The company offers a set of standard floor plans, but will
draws up plans based on clients' requests. In addition to building homes, Sunset Homes LLC also offers turnkey construction
services including building porches, basements and swimming
pools, as well as landscapes. "We are very personable with all of
our clients and work with them from start to finish," Esposito
says. "We will not turn a customer down or not give them what
their dream home should be; we will go the extra mile to please
Esposito's willingness to work closely with clients to ensure
they get what they want out of their homes has helped him build
a number of long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors
and tradespeople, and other community members during his more
than 25 years in business. "He is woven into the community," Ulewicz says. "You can walk around the communities we work in, and
everyone will know who Paul is."
The Shelby Charter Township, Mich.-based custom builder and
developer specializes in single-family homes ranging in price be-
tween $240,000 and $1 million. The company builds between 60
to 80 homes annually.
The company is currently building homes on lots in four subdivisions in the eastern part of Michigan: Christenbury Creek,
a 120-lot development in Macomb, Mich.; Brigantine Estates, a
109-lot community in Harrison Township, Mich.; Clover Estates, a
103-lot community in Chesterfield, Mich.; and Devondale, a community in Rochester, Mich.
The Christenbury Creek development is shared with other
builders; Sunset Homes is the sole owner and builder at the other
three communities, Ulewicz says.
Sunset Homes recently began selling lots in Hall Meadows, a
development it owns in Macomb Township, Mich. The company
also recently started marketing a new community, Forest Brook,
on land it owns in Washington Township, Mich.
Ulewicz explains that she is proud of the company's ongoing ability
to successfully tackle multiple projects in growing real estate markets.
"All of our departments work well together," she says. "Every
month gets busier and busier, but no matter how busy it is, we
always learn from our mistakes, correct them and move forward.
[Esposito] has been able to keep a balance where both our internal
team and external customers are happy; he has not let employees
or homeowners down." )
In addition to building Homes, Sunset Homes offers turnkey construction services such as building porches, basements and swimming pools.
