allowed Hi Point to find its footing quickly while competing builders struggled to stay afloat.
Even as the housing market has recovered, Hi Point has not changed
its strategy. "We've continued to get even more specialized with
customizing the houses," Huntoon says. Every house has its own
unique design and is made from materials that reflect the owner's
personality and lifestyle. "There are a lot of custom, unique features we incorporate into each house now," he adds.
/Trinity Construction/ I have personally known Jeremy and his family for
years. Some people are one person at work and another outside of work.
Jeremy is a calming presence in all aspects of his business and his life. He
is a servant in the community and brings leadership and peace into every
situation. A sales guy just the other day told me, he not only was his biggest
client but his favorite one. That even when circumstances were horrible from
their own negligence, Jeremy was calm and kind throughout the process.
Hi Pointe to me means 'integrity and high moral ground.' It's an honor to
be their main finish carpentry company. Trinity services some of the biggest
builders in the area but it is an absolute honor to trim these custom homes
for Hi Pointe. What I really like is he allows us to manage our own trades;
he tells us what the client is looking for and leaves it up to us to deliver! He
treats us with the same calm and kind demeanor that he does his clients.
And we look forward to be being part of this family in the future.

reclaimed from barns to give the houses a rustic, farmhouse look.
It's those kinds of touches that give Hi Point homes a distinct look
in the suburban Detroit market. "As we're building, I try to give
[clients] a lot of ideas of how to set their house apart," Huntoon
says. "I enjoy watching the homeowners get excited about their
house and watching them become overwhelmed."
Developing the design takes about four meetings among the client, Huntoon and Hi Point's in-house architect over the course of
two months. Every home begins with a standard set of features
