" We get all of our business from word
of mouth. "
JEFF JOSEPH, EXECUTIVE DESIGNER
"Not only do our clients know it, but the trades know it," Executive Designer Jeff Joseph declares. "We get all of our business from
word of mouth."
Brothers Bob, Danny and Paul Joyal started the Melbourne, Fla.based company in 1973 after moving from Vermont to Florida. Since
then, Joyal Homes has built more than 2,000 homes, while maintaining its dedication to honesty, integrity and on-time delivery.
This helped the company experience strong success even as it
endured industry downturns like the Great Recession. "We're one
of the few builders who made it through all those ups and downs,"
The homebuilder also uses quality materials that keep their integrity even "after the warranty expires," he adds. "We try to think about
what it's going to take to keep this client happy down the road."
Strong communication is a priority, as well, which includes
spending time with its clients in pre-construction meetings.
"When they walk out of that meeting, they're pretty comfortable
with what their expectations are," Joseph says.
This is essential, since the process of building a home can last
at least a year. "You've got to be responsive to clients and let them
know we're here for them," he says. "Not all builders do that, but
we do our very best to keep our buyers very happy."

Joyal Homes' recent work includes Bella Vue, the new model
home in Valencia of Addison Village, Viera. The luxury home has a
lakefront view and a design that embodies the British West Indies
Colonial style, "which is very popular right now," Joseph says.
"We did a lot of unique things," he says, adding that Bella Vue incorporates colonial shutters, louvers underneath beams and reclaimed
barn wood, including a beam that was used as a mantle in the home.
Bella Vue also features a custom-designed built-in wine room,
gourmet kitchen and an old fashioned cast-iron tub in the master bathroom. These earned rave reviews from Parade of Homes
judges. "They said the home reminded them 'of a big warm hug,'"
