Oftentimes part-time sales people go on to be sales managers of their own stores, and their bonuses are unbelievable. The average store owner makes more around $50,000 their first year and it just goes up from there,” said Springer. Sheetz has programs in place to foster long-term employees including college reimbursement programs; flexible spending accounts and a company matched 401(k). “Additionally, we give employees a personal day off on their one year anniversary in addition to their personal days off and at two years, they’re eligible for full benefits for working 20 hours a week,” said Springer.
