We appreciate your visit to our site and we hope you make us a “favorite” and check back often. Our goal is to offer our members one more resource for doing business, improving business and connecting business as we work to fulfill our mission statement “to build Lancaster County into a model of prosperity for 21st Century America.” Each month, we will offer information to benefit your business, your employees and your community—from practical to inspirational—by focusing on three key sections: Passionate Calling, The Bottom Dollar and Spice of Life. This month’s Passionate Calling is about Karen Gerth, founder of KPETS. Gerth’s story provides a great example of what can happen when a person follows their passion. We all do our best when our work is our passion—from for-profit, a non-profit or political office—and Gerth is a living example. With challenging times hitting at many businesses and many more finalizing g annual budgets, The Bottom Dollar explores ways to keep costs down as you run n your business and your life. And, finally, the Spice of Life offers expert tips on how to make the most of that business meal. Everyone’s time is critical and getting the most out of the time we devote to work couldn’t be more important—even during meals.
