Alumni Bulletin - Fall 2007 - (Page 27) job offer from Price Waterhouse, but he decided he wasn’t quite ready for the corporate world. “I deferred my full-time offer at Price Waterhouse for a year, and I went to live with my sister Nicole in L.A. to feel out the film industry and discovered that I loved it,” he says. But Hoven fulfilled his promise to Price Waterhouse and returned to New York to work for the Big Six accounting firm. He then transferred to Price Waterhouse in San Francisco and moved on to the dot-com industry to explore his interest in technology. “When the dot-com boom kind of boomed, I lost my job along with everyone else, and that’s when I went to L.A. and shot all the footage of Nicholas,” he says. Today, Hoven has cultivated the perfect marriage between his various interests. “I took my degree and have started doing accounting for the film industry,” he says.
