8 Feathers takes its name
from the magic of the
number and the reference
to the cherished town of
Eagle, Idaho.

Although these are lyrics to a 1971 pop song,
the words could have been written to describe the
co-owners of 8 Feathers Distillery in Boise-the
five of them have important complementary skills
besides their long-time friendship:
* Sandee Price was in marketing and advertising,
with experience in consumer-focused Shopper
Marketing.
* Marjie Lowe was event manager at Fortune 500
companies.
* Greg Lowe's background is in technology and
Rick McKinney is an engineer by training and expe-

rience (making them a great duo as distillers).
* Larry Price knows the sales and financial management part of business.
While the three men were at work in their jobs
at a telecommunications company, the women were
looking for another challenge in their professional
careers at the time the company was formed-thus
the birth of a new Idaho distillery in 2013.
The name 8 Feathers was an easy choice for the
co-owners, who wanted to show their support for
their community in Eagle, Idaho.
The product line seems to be a no-brainer, too.
First, Greg Lowe originally hails from Tennessee
and Kentucky, so bourbon is, figuratively speaking,
