proudly, inspired by its heritage and its agricultural
bounty. With vodka as the world's best-selling
spirit and the state as a top potato grower, potato
vodka is a natural. Idaho distillers use other local products to create this neutral spirit as well. They also
produce a multitude of other spirits, often using local
fruits, grains, botanicals, and even honey. And since
an important component of any liquor is water, Idaho's
distilleries start with a clear advantage, like the pure
water from beneath the alluvial Snake River plain.

Alex Buck and Ben Bradley's inspiration to present
traditional European ales to Idahoans arose from travels to Europe and experimentation with home brewing. They extended that passion into the art of
distilling and saw the business potential of the craft
