What's your favorite outdoor activity in the LifeOutside region?
"Our family (and generations of Milan family) like to visit Cave Mountain Lake near
Natural Bridge. There are tales from at least three generations of camping, fishing
and walking across the dam. We visit several times each summer to hike, enjoy
the beach and picnic areas, and swim in the cold mountain lake. It's a great place
for lazy summer visits with family and friends.
We also love to visit the Humpback Bridge near Covington, having been introduced to it about 15 years ago by a family friend. We have seen the renovations
several times after flooding, including once when the 'E' got washed away from
the 'LOVE' sign. It's a great place for a summer afternoon, especially for Granddog
Teddy to go for a swim." -Melinda Milan
