Mom's Chocolate Rum Cake
½ cup chopped pecans
1 18-ounce chocolate cake mix
1 3¾-ounce pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
½ cup Sailor Jerry's Rum
½ cup cold water
½ cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
Grease and flour a Bundt pan or 10- by 14-inch tube pan.

Put nuts in the bottom of the pan.

Put cake and pudding mixes in a large mixing bowl. Add
rum, water, oil and eggs. Mix for 2 minutes. Pour batter

Remove cake from oven and immediately pour on hot rum

Mom's Chocolate Rum Cake

Rum Glaze
1 stick of butter
1 cup sugar
¼ cup water
¼ cup Havana Club Rum
Place ingredients in a small saucepan and boil for 2 to 3
minutes.
