LURAY Luray Caverns ranks as eastern America's largest caverns system. It's also been designated by the U.S. Department of Interior as a United States Natural Landmark. Inside, you'll find the Great Stalacpipe Organ, the largest musical instrument in the world. Here, too, you'll find much more than the ultimate underground tour. A caverns ticket also allows you to catch some up-close views of the antique automobiles at the nearby Car and Carriage Caravan Museum. And you can visit the vintage tools and cabinets of the Luray Valley Museum, featuring artifacts from the 1750s to 1920s, as well as a collection of restored and historic buildings, creating a small 19th century farming community.
