At first I liked it simply to look at the stunning photos. But each year your magazine gets better and better. The articles are fun to read and informative, especially the historical ones or the "folksy" ones. I love reading about places to travel too. And the photos! So gorgeous. I finally decided I needed to write and tell you just how great your magazine is. My friend lives near the Blue Ridge Parkway. I live in California and dream of hiking and driving the Blue Ridge area. May I also say one of the articles that was particularly great was the one on (as I recall) the barn quilts where you interviewed a gay couple- that was awesome to read in this age of often derogatory remarks on such couples. BlueRidgeCountry.com 'How Impressive' I happened to pick up a copy of Blue Ridge Country at the St. Andrews branch of the Richland County Library in Columbia, South Carolina, and just wanted to comment on how impressive the magazine is. It's extraordinary and a great testament to the richness of the geographic region it reports on. Congratulations to all of the editorial staff and contributors. Best wishes for all future success.
