A PERFECT GETAWAY

COMING TOGETHER

On a beautiful summer Sunday morning,
Dasia Mattox attended church service at
the same place as Le'Bryan Patterson. After
introducing himself, their small talk turned
into a half-hour conversation. He quickly
asked her for a date and the rest was history.
Le'Bryan told Dasia they were going to
Charlotte for a weekend getaway. They spent
the entire day playing games at Dave and
Buster's and getting pampered at a spa. When
they went to dinner, Dasia was surprised to
see Le'Bryan had rented the entire restaurant, with her family and friends inside.
He dropped to one knee and asked her to
marry him in front of all her loved ones.

Dasia will never forget dancing and laughing with their friends and family. She and
Le'Bryan both come from large families
and managed to accommodate 300 guests
into their day. While planning the wedding
could be stressful at times, once the vows
were said, "it was amazing to laugh, relax
and enjoy our company!"

SOUTHERN CLASS

The ceremony and reception were classic
beauty, which Dasia feels was embodied
completely thanks to their venue. The outdoor event boasted colors of coral and gray,
with accents of willow green and cream. A

live band played during the ceremony, while
the reception moved beneath a large tent
with dance floor.
Centerpieces were comprised of roses,
peonies, carnations and baby's breath inside
mason jars. Classic R&B and soul had the
crowd dancing, while they were served classic Southern staples such as baby back ribs,
barbecue chicken, macaroni and cheese, sweet
tea and lemonade. Cupcakes included flavors
of banana pudding, red velvet, dreamsicle,
chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shortcake.
Guests were encouraged to use special
Snapchat filters throughout the reception,
making it easy for the newlyweds to see all
their photos later!
