Q: Tell us about your business and what is unique about SERVPRO?
A: SERVPRO of Roanoke opened in Salem in March of 1999. It is
locally owned and operated by Lisa and Quinn Mongan. We feel we
are unique in several ways. First, we are a family-owned business
with the support of an international system that only specializes in
our line of work. That gives us the ability to take care of small jobs
and call for assistance to do very large jobs within our industry.
With our local expertise, we have also travelled to support smaller
business owners. Second, we are open 365 days, 24/7 for emergency
services. And third, we clean the things no one else can clean or
wants to clean. We say, the nastier the better.

Q: What's your favorite part of your job?
A: It is a privilege to have a job that helps put people and businesses'
lives back together after experiencing a traumatic event or disaster
in their home or business. It is most rewarding when we can salvage
or restore personal and sentimental belongings. Also, it is a great
feeling when we respond to help a business after a mishap. Our
goal is to help them to stay open or reopen as quickly as possible to
maintain customers and jobs for their employees. Helping others is
our favorite part of our job.

Q: What does it mean to be recognized as a "Best of 2018" award winner?
A: It is an honor to be recognized as the Platinum Award winner in
the prestigious Roanoker magazine. We would like to thank our

customers in our business. Our customers and business partners
