LiNKED — Summer 2008 - (Page 4) EDITOR’S LETTER DEAR READER, Welcome to the third edition of LiNKED, reaching your in-box or RSS reader approximately one year after the first issue launched. As such, it’s somewhat of an anniversary for us. And truth is, we’ve had a lot to celebrate this year. We recently learned that our company was named to the prestigious Inc. 500 list. That news was followed shortly by an announcement that Nxtbook Media has also been named as one of the 50 Best Places to Work in PA. Fortunately, in between the digital publishing we do and the award ceremonies, we found time to bring this issue of LiNKED to you. Quite frankly, we think it’s our best yet. From the blogs at Mental Floss to the podcasts over at Discovery, this issue contains some of the best new media marketing strategies we’ve seen yet. This month’s feature on digital magazines takes a look at Training Magazine, a top-notch publication from Nielsen (a company well-known for top-notch publications). So what are we waiting for?
